Geboren 1964 in Kamen, Deutschland. Lebt seit 1993 in Österreich. Studierte Kunstgeschichte, Kunst, Europäische Ethnologie und
Kulturwissenschaften an den Universitäten Marburg/Lahn und Wien. Postgraduales Studium Museums- und Ausstellungswesen am IKW Institut für Kulturwissenschaft Wien. 1994-2000 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Edgar Ende Stiftung, München. 2002-2009 Leitung von AIR
artist-in-residence Niederösterreich, künstlerischer Leiter der Factory und Kurator der Kunsthalle Krems. Seither selbstständig tätig als
Kunsthistoriker, Referent, Kurator, Autor und Herausgeber.

Gerlinde Thuma absolvierte ihre Ausbildung an der Universität für angewandte Kunst bei Maria Lassnig.

Seither Malerei, Graphik, Skulptur, Environment, Bühnenbild, Ausstellungen, Projekte, Symposien im In- und Ausland. Mehrere Preise. Ausstellungsorganisation im Kunstraum Arcade Mödling. Vizepräsidentin Dokumentationszentrum für Moderne Kunst NÖ. Mitglied ASIFA Austria, IG Bildende Kunst, Künstlerhaus Wien.

Vasja Nagy-Hofbauer
independent curator and critic of visual arts

Graduated in History of art at the Faculty of Arts (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia). Since 1997 he is active as a curator in the field of contemporary visual arts. In the years between 2001 and 2008 employed as Curator for Contemporary Art in Obalne galerije Piran (museum of modern and contemporary art), Slovenia and from 2004 to 2006 involved in gallery Galerija Zapor in Koper, Slovenia in position of Art Director and Curator of exhibitions. In the years 2019-2021 was Art Director of the Festival of Photography Maribor, Slovenia. Since 1999 regularly publishes articles on contemporary visual arts. His theoretical and practical interests are mostly inclined towards photography and curatorial practices. One of his most prominent projects is curatorial intervention Art in a Suitcase he started in 2010 and still goes on. In 2006 he received The photographic exhibition of the year reward for curating the exhibition Intimno/Intimate. He is a member of Slovene Association of Art Critics (Ljubljana, Slovenia).
